The medal was for honorary bestowal on a member of another service or a foreign serviceman for a worthy mission involving 10 flights on a RVNAF or allied aircraft. The medal comes in four grades. This listing is for the Honor Grade, jet devices sold separately . The first grade (1000 hours) has a gold jet device, second grade (600 hours) has silver jet device, third grade (300 Hours) has a bronze jet device, and honor grade (has no device). Originals are very hard to find.

Size of medal is 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches.

Ribbon is 1 1/2 x 7 inches
